That’s got to be worth a quick email to VOSA I would think. Who knows how many other death traps they’ve declared fit to be on the road?!
Our range rover looks like that 😟
I’ve only dreamed of making pastry that flaky! 😆
It was fine till you chipped the paint off!
Tom Broom James Hillier Angus Carnie unlucky lads
The structural integrity ensured by the paint 😯 It is like old 2cv, Ami 6 or Citroën Type H Thanks there is the paint I guess you will perform a full chassis replacement
Mine looked exactly like that. Thanks to Brian and a new Marsland galvanised chassis, it’s structurally better than when it was new!! 💪🏼
A quick email to vosa I think 🧐🤔!!
That's happened over night 🤣
What happened there

Feel very sorry for today’s customer!
Having booked his recently purchased Defender 90 300TDi for a routine Cambelt and Service. We found this multitude of horrors!!
The vehicle was only purchased 6 months ago from a trader that specialises in vehicle restoration...... ... See MoreSee Less
Omg. That's bad. Poor guy probably assumed that it was ok due to where it came from. In reality they probably didn't even check it out
Moral of the story always check well underneath. I learnt that to my great cost
That was just a quick job to put a Mot and get rid!
How many times around the clock??? How old is it?
In France, we can get reimbousment under the law of "vice caché" (hidden failure) If you have that kind of protection of your customers in UK, you can recommand to your customer to ask for a financial refund to his seller Unless, he will have to pay for a full chassis replacement I recommand you to ask his position before to start any work in order to avoid the risk to not be paid
Not good at all....is it fixable Brian?
If that has MOT then the ministry need to see these photos and get the tester struck off. That's longer than 11 months worth of rot.
Meh. Just needs some more underseal...
To be fair it’s lasted well considering it’s been out in the sea so long...
Specialist in applying black underseal. Not sure about restorations.
The only good thing about this is.... keeps me in a job selling the stuff to keep these things going. Lol
Not from Stevie Wonder motors is it?
The Bodge it and Sell it Motor Co. strikes again!

Ouch! Did the customer not do any research or use their eyes?
It's a Landy, has years to go yet...
Seems like a death waiting to happen!
Ouch, looking underneath prior to purchase would have been an idea 🙈
rust only sleeps on days that don't end in "y"
Shocking , I feel for him ..
Bet it came with a full mot mmmmm
How old is this car? Did it spent the majority of its miles next to or in the ocean??
Dear gawd ! Hit a pothole in that and it would literally crumble under you!!
Not from Penine Autos in Bradford was it? That’s where my atrociously bodged one came from! 😬
Shocking, but see it all the time unfortunately
At least it doesn't look like the rest of it lol
